Two months after their Olympic triumph in Tokyo, Belgium’s Red Lions will play before their home supporters in Uccle (Brussels region). On Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th of October at 4:30pm, the Belgian hockey men will play their first game of the Hockey Pro League season 2021-2022 against Germany. On both days the program will start at 2:00pm, with the Red Panthers competing against the German women.
After a very difficult previous season, with a lot of games disturbed by the covid pandemic, the third FIH Pro League season will start in an almost normal way. Organisers are very happy to be able to fill their stands, players excited to play in front of their fans again.
On Saturday October 16 the Belgian Federation and the Brussels Capital Region invite all the fans to come to Uccle for a big hockey party in honour of the Olympic gold medal of the Red Lions and the European bronze medal of the Red Panthers. We encourage all the fans to buy their tickets as soon as possible, because due to the limited stadium capacity, tickets could sell out rapidly. Those who were not able to get tickets for the Saturday matches, can try for the matches on Sunday.
